This 52-page e-book is a summary of the best practices we observed during our visits to 30 hospitals, clinics and facilities treating ALS/MND in several different countries. It offers suggestions and recommendations to ALS/MND clinics, hospitals and patients for consideration, to help patients find support within their own communities and face the reality of their disease while maintaining a sense of hope. While not a comprehensive guide, it is the product of spending full days with patients, neurologists and therapists in many clinical settings, as well as touring facilities and having in-depth conversations with clinical coordinators and neurologists.
